Quality Policy 2025
Freight Transport Limited are one of the UK’s leading providers of transport, warehousing and logistics services with particular prominence in the transportation of wine.
Freight Transport believe that the road haulage industry and our customers expect a continually improving service, particularly in the post-Brexit world. Whilst we are a highly respected provider of this service, we are committed in our aims to continue to improve in order to meet the requirements of our suppliers, customers, delivery point and the industry as a whole.
We aim to achieve the above by implementing a management system that complies with the international standard of the ISO 9001.
Our Quality Policy is strongly driven by the following principles:
- Understanding the needs of our customers and building mutually profitable and efficient relationships with them
- Continually develop staff competencies through training, accountability and development
- Drive continual improvement to our services by maintaining and developing efficient and best working practices
- Stay relevant and in keeping with the road haulage industry by maintaining our fleet, working more creatively now in a post-Brexit world and keeping up with all customs changes as they come in to effect
Our achievements in these areas will be measured using the following Quality Objectives as key performance indicators:
- Staff retention measure as a percentage
- Customer satisfaction measured as scores obtained by survey
- Customs declarations measured by amount
These targets are reviewed 6 monthly at the Management Review Meetings with full data being available in the spring of each year.
